Forgive me father for i have sinned.
'twasn't. my fault m'lord, it was those wicked people at Aldi.
They had those delicious mince tarts on offer. I swear I heard a pack crying out "buy me, buy me".
I also bought some ready made custard. Sue wouldn't be happy but I am not going to start making my own custard. Not cheap but my neighbour tells me it's very nice.

I have just heard (on the radio) that tomorrow is officially the last day to wish people a happy new year.
To me that raises some questions......
1. Is it a jail sentence or worse for ignoring that ?
2. If its someone you dont like can you wish them a sh*te new year ?
I will message Mr Trump for an answer.

Weights done.

Item on news that drivers over 70 years old will need eye tested every 3 years. Currently it's up to driver to report to DVLA if eyesight not good enough but now it's mandatory.
A good move seeing as 22% of all accidents involving injury were by motorists over 70, a disproportionate amount.

It's what an American "comedian" feels is right.
Socially acceptable, it's the 10th of January in Scotland.
Worldwide it's the end of the month.

I agree with you on that.
I have just had mine done and the guy doing it specifically noted that I would pass the DVLA eyesite test WITH my new specs.
I will need my left cataract doing within the year.
Pain in the bum but if it saves lives I'm all for it.
