I think rim brake bikes looked a bit classier?

My titanium Sabbath looks quite good to me anyway.

Yes, aesthetically much nicer to look at. That's a lovely looking bike, Mo. Did I tell you when you bought it inspired me to look at titanium for myself. That's why I have my Kinesis.

When you've got federal cops stopping, assaulting, accusing and shooting people, like we have here in the US, then there's no uncertainty about society unravelling, but one man is responsible for it. Laws don't mean a thing to him.
I know we must stay away from politics. I do feel for the American people. I have life-long friends in Florida, New England and California.

I'm very conflicted. As Europeans I feel we can never again trust a US government and should act accordingly.

That b****** ICE officer put his pistol inside the window.

Yes, I know my post was borderline. I'm a Brit and have seen what's happening back home. Not good, anywhere..

You've summed up my feelings Dave. I'm hoping I can get another 20 years but I wouldn’t want to be here in 50 years when my girls will be in their mid 50s.

We have been very fortunate.
We missed the war.
We HAD good NHS.
We had full employment.

How did those politicians/world leaders let it go to sh*t ?

Well, it is all happening here. Here goes:
- B&Q delivered the new kitchen this morning so we have stack of boxes in the corner of the room and two lengths of worktops on the floor.
- Our daughter in Devon has slipped on the ice and cannot move. Ambulance took her to hospital for an x ray and nothing broken but she still can't move so Mrs G is going down to Devon tomorrow morning to help her. Our son is taking her as I can't go because the kitchen fitter is coming on Monday.
- Our daughter's own daughter's is off to Australia tomorrow so she can't help.
- Finally, I am having my cataract op on Wednesday and hoping to be able to drive by next week end if Mrs G comes back from Devon then.
