The burning question.....
Do you butter** the toast ?
**other spreads are available.

Not buttering the toast is evidence of the Work Of The Devil

it is just intrinsically wrong

or American - not sure if that is different or not

I confess that I have just had 2 slices of toast without butter.
I did, however, have lots of grilled cheese on them ^_^

That is not the work of the Devil

that is just Evidence of the presence of Demons!!!!

(I should note - I have just made the same thing for my wife -
In addition she HAS to have the toast toasted on one side only and the cheese on the other side
I think I should receive a grant from the Church for keeping her under observation!!!)

Yes, lavishly! ( though we don't use butter, there's a vegetable spread called " Naturli ". It's not butter and doesn't try to mimic it. Here's the ingredients:

" Organic Rapeseed Oil (39%), Water, Organic Shea Butter (21%), Organic Coconut Oil (13%), Organic ALMOND BUTTER (2%), Salt, Organic Carrot Juice, Emulsifier (E322 Organic Lecithine), Organic Lemon Juice, Natural Sunflower Oil Flavour"
Looking at Mrs Tkk's dressing table covered in various pots and potions I see that several of the more expensive creams have Shea Butter as a principal ingredient. This observation led to me suggesting that instead of frittering away her money on all that overpriced stuff she could just use some of the Naturli spread.

I've had a pleasant snooze on the settee this afternoon followed by a bit of suduku once I'd woken up properly 💤 👌

I like to read in bed before dropping off to sleep. There's that dreamy time where you're almost dropping off and snap awake briefly then try to find where on the page you had reached. I've recently noticed that in that brief time I appear to be subconsciously making up little bits of the dialogue that's not actually written on the page. I wondered if this is common or if it's just me ?

We went to the sailing club this morning, Mrs exlaser was on duty setting the course. I was going to sail but in the end I decided to believe the Met Office forecast that the wind would get up, a lot .
To paraphrase the old Bob Monkhouse joke , my friends laughed when I said I wasn’t sailing because of the forecast. They weren’t laughing by the last half hour of the race when I was pulling them into the rescue boat before attempting to right their abandoned boat/boats . 😀😂
