I've never been in a Wetherspoons.

Good morning all.
I had a good kip but was woken early hours by a steam train in the garden........it was the rain hammering down😗.
I am forced to do an Aldi dash at 0800 as daughter and SiL are coming for lunch tomorrow and asked if I will do them battered fish fillets in the air fryer.
She had been so good while her Mum was ill so it will be my small treat.

then I'll be out on the bike for a while to keep the legs ticking over.

I think this is probably what I'm doing wrong. I'm not cycling as much and think I can just go out and do what I used to but suffer for it after. I ended up with a sore neck which turned into a headache yesterday. I should go out more often but shorter I think.

Pleasant, but cool morning here which suits me. Just the riverside trail walk done this morning.

I think Wimbledon starts today. Sometimes I get into it and other times I don't bother. A bit like the cycling. I only put it on for the final 20k yesterday.

Morning all :hello:

Yet another tip run this morning. I reckon one more run, after this one, with my trailer should clear the rest of what needs to go.
MrsD has ordered a 'Hedgehog House' which will be delivered later this week. Apparently, Facebook has a 'Watchet Hedgehogs' group; they are very active.

Barnet,
Going back 20+ years it was our 'go to' place when working away. Decent pint and good value food.
Not been in for many years though.

You can still get a good pint of ale at a cheap price, £2.57, and a good selection in my local Wetherspoons.
The food on the other hand depends on how diligent the kitchen team are on the microwave and the deep fat fryer.
The portions have got a lot smaller I have noticed, so they are cutting the size of the portion instead of having to raise the price.
I admit that I don't normally eat in Wetherspoons, the all day brunch, with extra black pudding being the exception.
