I hadn’t been following, but, just had a look. Some near book long posts, amazing.

The big day has finally arrived!
Just a few small jobs to do before the removals men turn up at 8.30 - 9.30 then it's all systems go.
All we want to do today is just to get everything dumped off at the new place and to get a bed assembled for tonight.
We'll start sorting things out at our leisure from tomorrow.

Hello. Back again. Managed another 2 hours sleep and feel much better for it. We have snow, not much but enough for Granada Reports and BBC North West to dedicate an entire programme on the region grinding to a halt. As I type it's just started again.

Banked up the stove the last two nights. I love the gentle background heat it gives, much warmer than CH.

So, today? Ironing next, emails and stuff to do and we should have friends coming over tonight. I'll make something casserole like which can be frozen if the roads are impassable and they can't make it.

Good morning folks,
Our " second Friday " group meeting today, starting at the Goat and Tricycle where we will eat before heading out to visit a few other pubs. The Goat was taken over by Butcombe Brewery a little while back, some really nice beers and lovely people behind the bar 🍺

The fortnightly Sainsbury's delivery is coming between 10 and 11 this morning.
A reduced meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell we be had, one member is in Australia, and two others another can't make it. So just the three of us.

Oh, and by the way, its my birthday today. Finally made it to 65. I know I'm a youngster compared to some here, but I'm still feeling good, although the mind thinks it's still 25, the body sometimes reminds it that it's not.😄
