We had a sparky recommend those a few years back(thatch roof), but he then disappeared….& you still have to get power to the lights - he was suggesting wall mounted.

In the end, another sparky rocked up & found that circuit to be fine - it was the oven circuit that was iffy ‘cos of a knackered old oven - replaced that and all good, certificate signed!

They're these:
Inexpensive, paid £23 for the two modules (then saw them on Amazon a bit cheaper ). They do a dimmable version too. Each module can be paired to up to 5 switches so no problem with 2 way switching.

So it’s the light that needs power, with the switch anywhere nearby, right?

Our challenge was the first (wrong!) sparky thought the wiring in the attic of a thatch was 100% bad.
Sure, it isn’t ideal…but provided it is checked and wiring is not chewed…..

New 18mm ply for my worktop has arrived and has been screwed in position. Done some rearranging of the garage but will finish tomorrow - no need to rush!

Where I live the road is a kind of horseshoe shape, it goes nowhere and there is only one way in and out.
Someone is going to do some work at the bottom of the road, there is a short spur that is a dead end.
So 3 way temporary lights have been installed to control the immense amount of traffic that is expected.
More elf and safety stupidity.

It wouldn't be an Americano if you put milk in it you fool!

Oh, yes!! How often have we said this. If I want milk I'll ask "can I have hot milk with that?"

I must admit that I do ask for a large Americano with hot milk.
What does that make it?
I am not a coffee afficionado, but I do like proper coffee not instant.
