Today was mostly spent shopping and re-planting a pot bound Clematis; this evening shall be drinking wine having snacks with cheese and Hummus and watching a film.

Snooze snoozed.

I've not snoozed today. I went back to bed at 05.30ish and had 3 solid hours. Footy on later so will be in bed 11ish.
For tea I am on chicken chow mein

That took me back. Sue and I would often enjoy hummus with fresh bread or pita bread and a bottle of plonk. Not had it for years now.

Lunch at the 29029 in Broadstone followed by a pint in the Tap and Grape whine watching the Italy Ireland game. I notice there's a new Nepalese restaurant in Bournemouth that's called the "29032" reflecting the revised height of Everest 😁

After some lovely fish and chips last night, I can't be bothered to cook today, so, I've just phoned the Indian takeaway for a lamb madras, pilau rice, sage aloo and a garlic nan, with a shaslic chicken for MrsP.

Yes, same for me. We have pasta and brocolli bake.......I've had a busy day and needed to do something quick and reliable.

It's like an Indian kebab, you can have chicken or lamb and it comes with cooked peppers and onions, side salad and yoghurt

My daughter is home for the weekend so my she and my wife had a day out together so I had the day to myself. 120 miles on the motorcycle listening to an audiobook, stopping at Nether Heyford in Northampton and Turweston on the way home.

I wish my daughter was only 30. I have a grandson that old

I think it’s unlikely I will ever be in that position as the youngest I could be for that to happen is 94. 😀

Good morning all.
Not as cold as yesterday or as the forecast threatened. A mix of showers and sunshine is now promised.
Not a lot on today, just a lot of 'stuff' to sort out prior to decorating and new carpets starting this week.
I have lots of DVDs and old videos that Sue accumulated when the grandkids were young, some of them still in wrappers. I also have books eg large dictionaries and other reference books that nobody will want.......what do I do with them ?
Big decisions to make.
