Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Morning. Crap sleep due to being back on the binge eating the last few days  Resting heart rate has shot up and HRV plummeted. Don’t know why I keep doing this to myself.

All the crap we eat is really a drug expecially the sugars. It's very addictive :hugs:

Good morning all.
It seems to be a theme today of a heavy nights sleep. I feel like I've been clubbed over the head. Nearly eight hours sleep, I woke up briefly at 4am but got back to sleep quickly.
The weather is a bit iffy today, not as bad as those up north might be getting but not too good.

I think the same person clubbed me as well. If I hadn't needed a pee break at 06.00 I would still be in bed, asleep.

I've just taken the kitchen tap apart. It has started to drip annoyingly so I have got the cartridge out and have sprayed it with descaled, hopefully that will sort it out. Otherwise it will be a trip to the local plumbers merchant for a replacement.

If I may give you some advice.......find a place where you can dine outside. I assure you, there is nothing quite like soggy fish and chips.
You will thank me for this advice.

If anyone is near Llandudno then I suggest "caution" in eating Fish and Chips outdoors

It is lovely eating it on the beach or prom on a nice sunny day

I know this because about a million gulls come to join you if you are not careful

One nicked my pie one day - I was grabbing a half brick off the beach and was about to lob it at the thieving bar steward when I realised that a serving teacher who worked a few miles away would not look very professional lobbing a brick at a dumb animal on a beach crowed with people

it did scare it into dropping my pie though

and yes I did eat it

Oh - and "dumb animal" is inaccurate - this thieving git executed a brilliantly designed swoop at the only available angle to get round my strategically positioned bike behind me and grab the pie at the maximum speed that would allow it to be successful
Clearly had a degree in aeronautical dynamics and the breaking forces of pastry
so not dumb at all

2 Points.......
1. In Cornwall we saw a group of people exit a pie/pasty shop and stand in a circle to talk and chop. That had no affect on the gull that flew right into the middle of them a nicked a pie straight out of a guys hands.
2. On R2 yesterday they interviewed a woman that owns a takeaway and has started offering insurance for her pies ie customers can pay £1.00 extra to insure against seagull theft. If a gull nicks your pie you can go back and she will give you a replacement for. She will take your word for it and said "if someone is desperate enough to lie about a pie they are welcome to it".

Make sure you take all the relevant measurements from the cartridge before you commit.
I never realised that there are so many different cartridges available until the one in our kitchen started leaking.

This is just one variant - there are loads more.

Excuse my ignorance but where does a cartridge fit in a tap ?
