Yes, agreed. How on earth can they know what was said and done?

Pineapple on pizza, or on gammon for that matter
prepare to be horrified by chips on pizza.
Not a british crime as you might thing.
Quite popular with some young Italians.
Can't remember what the italian pizzeria name is for this concoction.
I can only think that they are rebelling against their elders' often anal attitude to food and what goes with what.
I wouldn't touch one though.
(and I doubt the chips are as good as from a british chippy)

oh - am a great fan of genuine italian pizza so just dredged this up - as a youth in venice I remember a pizzeria doing a pizza sophia loren.
With two large eggs.
I wouldn't touch that either.
 
Salmon with chilli sauce. Or any strong sauce.
Salmon is the most wonderful fish flavour in the world, but it is delicate. Very delicate. If you have any sauce with it that in any way masks some of the flavour, then just get a cheaper fish instead.

4x4 vehicles with low profile tyres. That just offends my engineering sensibilities no end. Its like having a moutain bike with aero tubing.

I wouldn't touch that either.
The Italian pizza place near me (and it's a proper one, despite being in Whitley Bay) does pizza with chips on. They use skinny fries rather than chips. It's pretty good, but it's a proper carb overload and takes some time to recover from.
