The 3 fir trees in my back garden always needed pruning. Then they were getting a bit out of control now they are the height of the bloody house. My step ladder just won't cut the mustard.

I agree, a saw would be much better (for the mustard too).

being a bachelor... washing up, hoovering, general tidying (just before reading this thread i shifted a week's worth of empty beer cans from my coffee table to the recycling box), decorating, or finishing decorating (a few years ago i started a thread on CC when i started redoing my kitchen... it's still not finished)... that sort of stuff. There's just not enough time to do all these little things.... but I always manage to find to time to procrastinate
