Trikes or recumbent

Hi all,
Not posted for years due to (mainly) health issues. I can no longer risk an upright bike due to stricture issues. So I’m looking at recumbents, probably an ICE Adventure HD. Anyone ride one in Lancashire? Just wondering what people’s experiences are on the roads. Tia.

Well I'm from the other side, but have had a few forays into Lancashire on the Brox. It was bought the far side of Manchester and ridden home.

You're at a slight advantage on more than two wheels, slow speeds not an issue. They're still something of a novelty for most folk, who tend to give you extra room.
