Trivial things that make you annoyed beyond expectations?

People who gather on platforms right in front of the doors of a train as it arrives, then look confused at the idea tha there may be prople who need that space on to get off the train, so they can get on.

Extra annoyance from those who refuse to move and look indignant when asked.

Back when I was train wan commuter in the smoke, I used my hard briefcase to "remind" people that they were in the way, and I was coming through. Very useful, for a simple piece of everyday old-fashioned luggage!

The ones who use the wide access gates when they don't need to, just to avoid a queue of about 3 people.

Or stop on the top of stairs/escalators/main entrances to decide what to do next, or have a chat. It's tourist season here and Tübingen is full of them.

I phoned the clinic this afternoon and they said that this has been happening a lot recently!

I managed to get a new appointment for Monday and a new letter has been sent out. (I need a barcode for the nurse to scan with the blood testing machine.) There is a good chance that THIS letter will not arrive in time so the clinic emailed me a copy just in case.

That's happened to me as well. I eventually got my appointment letter late with a month's worth of post.
Well, guess what? After receiving no mail for several weeks, I received 6 items in the post today, including the appointment letter sent first class yesterday afternoon, AND the original appointment letter sent first class 2 weeks ago!!!

Something is definitely wrong with Royal Mail round here!

The expectations of line managers and those above them began to get bonkers at the start of covid and what they think posties can do has got even worse since my last shift almost three years ago.

There's been some sort of delivery method trial this year that's going nationwide soon, essentially making everyday an impossible task (especially for posties that don't drive) , when in my time things only usually got silly Weds/Thurs/Fri plus the few weeks before Xmas.

On the topic of blood test
ours are all on line - well the booking is anyway
I just go onto the NHS app and do it all from there

as far as I know all the doctors round here are putting everything together so that everything can be done using it

The stuff I am doing through AGe UK has a big focus on getting people to use it

Bromptons have a similar effect.
Erm... or so I'm told.
I found that my Tern Joe had a great effect on moving people. Folded, it's still quite large and I had no compunction in er... "walking" through people with it...
