Why should they reverse into them?!
Well I'd extend that to American dates generally.
8th October 2025: day < month < year, a logical progression.
2025-10-08, year > month > day, logical again
October 8th 2025, month > day < year. Not logical
10 / 8 / 2025, just daft. Ambiguous and confusing to the rest of the world who express dates properly.

Not quite trivial. Had a new Finance system in work. Paid a fortune for it, installed by one of the 'big five'. Big worldwide system. It's crap, doesn't do what we need it to do, analysing anything is impossible, coding is all over the shop and I can't actually do my job because of it. Managers publicly saying it's a success - it's not, it's a disaster (for those of us who use it). Let's say it's bad enough to consider leaving after 18 years in the job.

That's a definite for the not-trivial list: managers claiming a project is a success because it looks good on their CV, when the actual project is a disaster. Only choosing metrics that are positive to report upwards "it was on time and on budget" rather than the ones that matter, then getting promoted on the back of it.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but those Haribo adverts that feature adults with children's voices make me want to put a boot through the TV.
Can I submit "Adverts for mobile games that consist entirely of lies".
I like playing the occasional mobile game and most of them are funded by advertising - fair enough. But on the occasion you do see a game and think "that's interesting", you download it and find its an entirely different game. That fun tower defence games is just a generic worldbuilder.
The other type of lie is "You can be a games tester and earn lots of money" usually followed somewhere by "win money" and claims that it will pay your daily expenses or give you a couple of grand to wave around. See also "Solitaire" cash games which are strictly skill based. All of these are usually advertised either by dubbed eastern Europeans or random tiktokkers.

Been there done that!
AT one point I was the poor sod that had to get "The Great New Thing" working in a viable way with the actual people nd system that kept the company running
There were a few very cludgy system in Littlwoods that I had put together to stick a "Wonderful New System" to the "tired and terrible old system" so that the company could actually keep running
lets just say that "but the salesman said" was never my favourite phrase

Oh and "but all the budget has been spent already" was right up there as well!!
(in one case I was muttering "Oh OK - lets just do without ALL payments to the company that come through a bank then!!!")

On the topic of annoying things
This one goes back decades
but just now I was driving behind a car and a hand appeared out of the passengers window
and flicked a used cigarette butt out of the window
follow a second later by another one flying out of the driver's side windows
Some smokers just seem totally unable to regard cigaratte butts as littering
and this has been the case for decades - possibly longer
I really just can;t see why - but I have seen people discard a cigarette butt while moaning about people dropping sweat wrappers
It just annoys and puzzles me
