Tommy, I hear they have invented these new things called chains...
That's like me with regard to frame material. Due to my weight I like metal. But electronic groupsets on metal frames are rare.

I'm thinking you have the Hugh Grant syndrom. You've got Elisabeth Hurley at home and you're looking at other bikes.
I went back to post a picture of your "Elizabeth Hurley" but only found this....if I remember it was a beautiful bike.

I never really thought about that before but you’re right TB. Most off the peg bikes with electronic gears are carbon. But if you build a frame up yourself you can put what you want on it.

Not on Netflix and temporarily unavailable on Amazon prime. It looks like it's worth watching. My wife is looking on Acorn.

The tv version was written by a fairly well known English guy called Dennis Potter, but to be honest Randy, I’m not sure how acclaimed the adaptation is. So it wouldn’t surprise me at all if you struggle to find it on the interwebz. It’s a very interesting story though, and of course historically very significant. It’s based on this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Past-Myself-Christabel-Bielenberg/dp/0552990655

She was an incredible woman and always very kind to me and my sister. Her obituary alludes a little to that side of my families’ background which is quite interesting in some ways.

Being Mother’s Day in Britain today. It’s as good a time as any to recognise some of the amazing women that help shape our lives. Like my own mother, Chris is no longer with us unfortunately. But the memories are still strong, and it’s as good a day as any to think about them with fondness and pride .

Ok enough mushy stuff for one day!

No car chases either I’m afraid Berty ^_^.

I was a too young to know who she was at the time.

Tommy, I am pretty sure I have seen that!

Yeah, the Grey is awful ... although The Bokeh Ti 8000 Di2 looks stunning, at 5 quid short to 7 grand :eek: ... and I'd change those tyres Schwalbe Marathon Supreme Evos for me

As others here know I don’t mind a bit of farrow and ball grey

The Ti though is a stunner and a bike for life. If such a thing exists.

I am waiting for a cheaper version of this.

Just been reading another thread on here about Bike insurance while abroad - saying most of them are void if riding above 1000m - has anyone looked into this while we are away ?
