I'd like to do the Alps again , but not in 30+ temps. So l'll have to see if you lot want to do an outing later in the year.

Andy, my experience from 3 trips there is it’s often cooler in that general area and, a few rides aside, generally more shaded as the rides are often through valley/mountain woodland. Certainly temps were nothing like the Pyrenees this year. Come and join us.

I will be organising a Girona trip In March but too early to have details.

Myself, self organised. Planned part of my route to stop at village/town's with multiple B&B.

It's a slow route Jogle down the east coast, then through Norfolk across somewhere either(tba)North or South of London, then onto Cornwall

I need to know more Andy.. daily mileage, route (proper), when... etc etc..

I’m planning the NC500 for next year.. family permitting. Then, within a year or two - LEJOG.. I’m currently in deep research mode. :addict:

Check out the Koomoot site. It offers 3 types of rides and when using the tour option goes on quiet farm roads and bike trails. Or ask @berty bassett to ride it a few times and give feedback. It worked for me.

I've been using for route ideas, I'm doing roughly 60miles a day, so I can see some sights, drop off my route if locals tell me of something worthwhile visiting. I've basically used Strava to build the routes instead of using downloaded gpx files, this is to make sure my Wahoo Elemnt works. I've had corrupted files which stop the navigation working.

You beat me to it Randy, I was going to suggest this as another source of routes . I know you had good success with it.

cycle.travel is a very good site easy to use , picks the quietest routes - although check the green bits on googlemaps to see if usable
Jim - NC500 is a brilliant ride , a real tester , i stayed in 4 b&bs - 3 of which i would highly recommend if you want their names

ive got file after file of possible lejog routes if you want me to ping them to you ? the little i know about the route , west coast all the way means you nip into Wales , also when in Scotland i hopped onto Arran to miss glasgow - only downside to that route was around liverpool and manchester - i went through warrington and felt live was in danger
also been up east coast then across moors to carlisle then perth edinburgh old a9 to inverness

Yeah - you'll want to be avoiding Warrington! :boxing: I can plot you a nice route through Cheshire through the leafy lanes and villages
