Walking shoe recommendations

Yes,i'd say they were worth the money. They're sturdy enough to walk up and down hills,but not too "mountaineering boot(ish)" to make you look like a right lemon when just walking round the local park.

There are people who walk round my local wearing boots you'd need to climb Everest and they also have those poles in each hand,that make you look like you're taking part in one of those Nordic outdoor pursuits.

Nothing wrong with nordic walking, it can give you a good workout, there are plenty of people around this way doing it.

Those walking poles are really helpful in bad conditions. They help stop you slipping etc.
Have you got some boot wax for your boots? I rub that in mine and its better than general polish.

I did wax them before all the polish went on. I'll wax them again soon.
