To be fair,Rooney when being interviewed, does try to present himself well. He's never come cross as a bighead and he's always conducted himself well on the pitch, Apart from the time the England fans booed the team's performance during one world cup match, when he told the fans to f..k off.
It's his social life behaviour that lets him down quite a lot.

Not being able to drive his beloved beetle for a year will be punishment enough for the poor love.
Turns out it was someone else's Beetle. The thot plickens.

What is wrong with him? What kind of idiot drives under the influence of alcohol, when they can easily afford a taxi? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sp...-Rooney-arrested-suspicion-drink-driving.html

Note.. what kind of idiot drives under the influence of alcohol, even if they can't afford a taxi?

My thought exactly. He could even afford to buy the taxi!. I see it here with drivers parking on the pavement around Bristol centre. Someone swanning around in a £30k car can't seem to afford a few quid an hour for parking.....

Agreed, but being charged isn't the same as being guilty.

So the pitchforks should be set aside until conviction, then stab away....
In drink driving ? Really .
The machine makes it up does it. Random numbers M'lud couldn't have been drinking oh no .

Or was it mouth wash . FFS .

He'd have a hard time pinging a self calibrating intoximeter if he wasnt oiled, particularly as the prosecution threshold is 40ug, the drink driving equivalent of "10%+2" leeway. He's guilty. His only hope is that his solicitor can argue a Beetle isn't a motor vehicle, or that he wasn't in a public place.

I bet he's been onto this dodgy dealer already.
