I’ve returned to the gym for the first time in 7 weeks and my weight has jumped by 2.5lb despite not eating more than normal.

It’ll most likely be water weight from my muscles swelling up.

The plan now is to get back into gym routine 3 days a week, 8-10k steps a day, carry on eating 2000 calories a day (140g protein, 60g fat and 170 carbs) and I’m expecting to see some further improvements either in weight loss or muscle definition.

Thank you. When I first went on my new regime it was comjng of 4 or 5 lbs a week, but thats slowed maybe half a pound a week. I guess that shows my new found eating habits are pretty close the ideal intake for a gent of my build and dimensions.

A problem this morning.

Decided to wear a shirt as my Mum is popping round later and she always finds something to complain about. First three shirts out the wardrobe look like tents on my now so went straight on Mrs D's Vinted pile.

222.8lbs this morning. Edging very close to target.

Good job! The losses will be harder to bank the closer you get to your target weight, especially if you're eating sustainably. Not sure I've heard of edging as a weight loss technique, but if it works for you.

Yeah I was a couple of ounces under 12st this morning. So that's a stone lost since I started, abeit I started after gaining 1/4st on holiday!

Now to maintain it starting with an 11! Or a 3/4 @Drago!

11st 12lb this week.
Happy birthday to me!
Now can't wear my jeans without a belt, although a long weekend of B'day celebrations, a day at the cricket and visiting family might fix that!

Still dropping probably half a kilo a week. I have shifted a few notches on my belt, and I'm going to have to drill some holes in my main belt as I've run out and my pants are starting to fall off. Even a weekend away (so eating a bit more, drinking 'stout', but walking a lot) resulted in me dropping another kilo. Should be good for when we are camping for a 9 days as we'll be pretty active, despite eating a fair bit and partaking in some drinkies.

We have both found sticking to overnight oats really keeps the munchies off. I've been strict in no snacking, especially when at work. I do need to make sure I'm drinking more water though, not always easy.
