Well, typical sessions such as 2x20 mins at threshold, 4x5 mins at VO2 max, 2 hours at tempo etc are all good starting points.

I spend about 7 hours a week on the turbo, I do a minimum of 1x VO2 max session (6x3 min plus 4x2 min or increasing efforts, starting at 5 mins, building by 30 seconds each effort for 5 efforts then ending with 2x3 mins all out efforts), 1x threshold session (2x20 mins at threshold) and a tempo session (2-2.5 hours riding at tempo), I also do some complementary sweet spot sessions (60 mins at high tempo/low threshold).
 
When I had the turbo set up in my parents garage it was the mp3 player for me too, on random certain track were better for climbing and others for consistency or sprinting; that kept things bearable for me;)

This is the sort of structure that I want to get into. Obviously you're a lot more advanced than I am. I've done two sessions on the turbo so far, both 45 minutes in length. I've been doing one minute hard efforts, followed by two minutes of gentle spinning.
