Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2
Not as many laughs as the first one, but still enjoyable nonetheless. The 70's music was also welcome like the first.

Last night was mockumentary night...

David Brent, Life on the Road followed by Kenny (2006)... an Australian film about a plumber who specialises in delivering and maintaining portable toilets to festival and other events. Documentary cameras follow Kenny as he juggles his family life with his excrement-soaked travails. Despite the off-putting synopsis, this utterly charming gem of a movie is recommend to everyone.

edit... looking at the cast on Wiki, it looks like Kenny's brother, dad and son are his real life family
Shane Jacobson as Kenny Smyth
Clayton Jacobson as David Smyth
Ronald Jacobson as Bill Smyth
Jesse Jacobson as Jesse Smyth

In the interval we watched an episode each of Cunk on Britain and W1A, but they're not films so I'll not mention them.

Toy Story 4 .... not a dry eye in the house at the end ..... loved the ventwillequist dummies ..... and yes thats how i pronounce it, much to the amusement of the family ..... it's an Ulster thing ...

I went to the cinema and watched The Rise of Skywalker.
I’m not a Starwars mega fan. The film was formulaic and the ending fairly predictable. The franchise has run its course. There are only so many lightsaber fights and jumps to lightspeed that you can do. I would have liked a non standard ending but Disney could never do that.
It’s a 5/10 from me.

Its called Zootropolis in the UK but it's the same film

I bought all the toys for this (from Home Bargains) for my youngest son, when the film first came out.

They were surprisingly cheap at the time, probably because the film flopped at the cinema.

I'm holding on to them though. Could be worth a bit in the future

Kenny is an absolutely brilliant film. Thanks for reminding me, I need to watch it again.
