I enjoyed the first one, as did daughter (now 24), I don't think Sam (her boyfriend) will go with her, so it'll probably be a dad & daughter trip

We've been today, a teatime screening (16:40), at 'Xscape' (near jct32/M62)

A damned good film!
It's a bit like Wallace & Gromit. in that there's little hidden details that you see, or think you see
eg; Judy & Nick steal/'borrow' a hot-rod belonging to a Pig charactor, & at one poiny in the ensuing chase, a Nitrous Oinkcide bottle is seen in the car

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Play date on prime with Alan ritchson , aka reacher and the guy out of king of queens.
Started out as a good bit of light entertainment before going a bit off course , still worth a watch.

We have come into 3 months of Apple, so looking for things there….tonight we watched Fountain of Youth. Got pretty panned by critics, and in some ways rightly so, but an entertaining enough romp in the Indiana Jones style.

My favourite has been Slow Horses with Ted Lasso as a (completely different) close second.
Controversial opinion, Ted Lasso isn’t really about football and it is likely better than you would imagine.

I wouldn't say that's a controversial opinion about Ted Lasso. It's got nothing to do with football, but it's fun to get the references if you're a fan of the game.

Ah yes, Slow Horses and Ted Lasso are both excellent. We had a previous subscription & binged those.
& yes, some non-footy pals have every much enjoyed Ted Lasso.
Down Cemetary Road entertaining too, I think still an episode to come, but this is veering off films now 🫣

Ah! Forgot this was the movie thread. Personal taste, there are a few good ones but they tend to be unnecessarily long.
Stand outs from memory that exceeded expectations were Blitz and The Greatest Beer Run Ever.
