Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Some bits recently:

- A Shimano Dura-Ace 9100 derailleur to be used when I shortly turn the Viner Mitus into a hillclimb bike, basically so I can have a wider rear cassette.
- A pair of Shimano Tiagra 4600 shifters, to be used as a swap for the carbon Microshift Arsis shifters on the Carrera Vengeance Magnesium. The Microshift shifters may be light but I've found I can't shift when in the drops as they're too small.
- A pair of Token 11T tiramic jockey wheels. Cheap because they're gold and they'll be used on something, so won't be gold for long.
- An Alexrims X-202 700c hybrid-y wheelset with Shimano Acera hubs and a 7 speed cassette, which will go onto the Raleigh Pioneer and I'll use the Fulcrum CEX 6.5 wheels on the Peugeot 653 project for now.

I put the new chain derailleur and cables on the bike and discovered I also need a new cassette as the old chain and cassette had obviously worn together and my 2 favourite gears were unusable.

I remembered I had an old little used 12-25 laying around, so I put that on for the commute as a stop gap. I really missed having a 28 gear!! Too unfit and overweight to rock a 25 these days.

Two new tyres for the best bike. The ones that are on it are wearing quite thin and I have LOVED these tyres so I hunted down a pair of the same. Vittoria Barzo XC-Trail in 27.5 x 2.35”.

In the end it was Halfords that came up trumps, with a Cycling UK discount making them just about as cheap as anything I could find from foreign shippers (and much quicker shipping).
