Just a warning about the Lidl pumps - on another forum, everyone who has bought one is taking them back. They struggle to get tyres up and overheat.

Noted will check it when appropriate. The instructions give an operating temperature of upto 60. Black materials in direct sunlight can easilly reach that so these probably need to be used in the shade.

Zwift cog and click as got emailed a discount code yesterday ;should mean a smoother set up and as the turbo bike is permanently set up I may even remove the groupset from it and just use some old levers/shifters , I'll see how it goes before doing that but seeing the DC Rainmaker video it should be good.

Do they have a hose attachment ? as it's recommended to use one with TPU tubes.

No it's metal connection

Collected this Laser helmet from my favourite LBS on Wednesday:

And figured I’d buy a spare liner this Morning; whilst it’s still current and easily available:

I noticed also noticed one Barrel adjuster on the Carrera is all Alloy. The other Alloy with a plastic collar. This very nearly ruined my ̶L̶i̶f̶e̶.̶ ̶Y̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶?̶ ̶W̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶l̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶t̶h̶…̶.̶day 😁So I duly bought a pair of these this Morning too:

I’ve also ordered a cheap: 4 x Satellite GPS (Hence completely wireless) ‘Speedo’ I can use reference pacing: on my upcoming Dynamo ride:

And after I’d been paid - and living life like a Premiership Footballer for an hour or two 🤣 - I bought my 3rd recent pair of Van Rysel Endurance Bib Shorts. Now got a rotation of stock, 2 on the go and a spare pair: or however you see it……

I'm fairly impressed of the quality of this bib, in particular considering the price. I like them very much.

E.

I’ve got little to compare against. But they’re infinitely better than the cheap FDX I bought (To see how I got on with Bibs).

And from the reviews online: and experiences shared here - it seemed I could spend at least double the price and gain nothing more.

All I know is - like today (3.5 hours moving time)…..I can go out for a ride and don’t have to think once about my padded parts !

So I’m with you 😁

£12.80’s worth of 2.4” x 5-Satellite GPS Speedo Unit - to help me pace an upcoming ride.

Looks great, battery supposedly fully charges in 2 hours. And it lasts 28. It’s got 14 parameters it can measure. Backlight etc. And is rated to being IPX7 waterproof.

And turning it on got the correct Timezone and time automatically reset in literally 5 seconds….

Soon as it cools down a bit - I’m going out 👍

I just found this on AliExpress: | GPS Bike Computer Wireless Bicycle Computer 2.4 LCD Screen Cycling Speedometer Odometer with Auto Backlight and Bracket

I popped into a retro cycling kit retailer at the weekend. I usually pop in when visiting the Town. Usually has a very good selection of stuff, and I've bought bib tights and a few decent plain jersey's from him. He's currently selling a large range of retro jersey's on behalf of a 'collector', as well as his own stock. I liked the look of a few jersey's and he said he'd have to ask the 'individual' how much they wanted for the tops. Left him my whatsapp. Got back to me fairly sharpish, one top was £180 and the other two I fancied £280 each. Good job I was sat down. Politely declined. MrsF went onto her 'Vinted' and promptly found the same jersey from 1986 for £20 delivered.
