As I was (sort of) in the area, I popped across to Starbeck and visited Spa Cycles to get a couple of chainrings (48t outer and 36t inner) which will end up on the best Van Nicholas.

Had a bit of luck and was paid back some money I was owed, so I've ordered a cheap set of ZTZ wheels for the Carrera to replace the stock ones with the bearing races made from gravel and a slightly more padded saddle. Also ordered bearing puller and press kits for the Boardman and hopefully ordering the bearings sometime this week.

Yesterday some small bits, two Jagwire brake cables and some Juice Lubes brake cleaner and hand cleaner as was getting low on both.

Today a bigger item, Fairlight Anraed fork to go on the Stayer all road.

Will now be able to fit the front dynamo light properly and will also have a bit more leeway with tyres with mudguards.

Continuing my slow, but sure, collection of groupset parts with the intention of changing my 3x9 Sora set-up into a 2x11 105 one I bought these from a well known on-line auction site. The seller said they had only been used on his indoor training bike so they're in remarkably good condition but there's a small amount of corrosion on the handle bar clamps. Caused by sweat I guess ^_^

Continuing my return to cycling I've bought myself a Santini winter jacket. Wanted an Altura Night Vision but they've changed a bit. The only one I could find that would fit me was yellow xx(

Having had a chat with Gemini the Santini jacket has been cancelled. When I asked for a review Gemini pointed out that for someone my size 6'6 and currently 18 stone) the largest Santini would look like a boob tube.

Just ordered 2 32mm Tubeless Continental 5000s for the Gravel bike so hopefully it'll get some use.
