Finally cleared some space in the garage so spent some time this morning trying to figure out how to fit some wall mount bike hooks - it's a 70 year old concrete prefab garage with 3/4" thick walls so not the easiest to work with.

Ended up screwing some 2x4 offcuts to the wall with some no more nails type adhesive for extra strength. Then mounted some plywood across the front and screwed the bike hooks into the 2x4s. Not the most elegant solution but it seems to be holding and I've now got half the bikes organised.

Still need to tidy up the rest of the garage though.

I assembled a concrete garage in the 70s and needed shelving storages I drilled two holes through the concrete panel and fed 3/8” coach bolts through and also through wooden battens secured with flat washers and nuts. Very secure battens which carries the shelving brackets.

That was definitely a thought I had - but unfortunately that side of the garage is side on to the next door neighbours garage - which is similarly constructed, and their isn't enough room to squeeze my fat arse between them to fit the bolts.

Spent the morning attempting to sort out our Fakro windows which are like Velox but with an extra function which isn’t functioning and despite our efforts still isn’t.
