A strip of titanium and six stainless steel bolts along with some cancellous bone chips as a graft. I don't know how much it cost my health insurer but I guess about £4000. I hope not to need another one in my life.

My total expenditure for all things bike related balanced out at around £1200 last year, but that included 3 new bikes (second hand 14" for youngest, brand new 20" for eldest and Wazoo Fat Bike for me). I'd say my best purchase was probably the Fat Bike for smiles per miles (£200) but the FLY6 camera for £45 comes a very close second!
