I wanted to be a linguist. I have a B.Sc in Computer Science and Linguistics, but have never used the latter part of it. I guess I just wasn't cunning enough***.

physicist - f*&'d up my degree after doing rather well at school.so that was out. I've now accepted I may never meet the King of Sweden.

I somewhat regret that I never worked in Antarctica. Filled in the form but didn't apply in the end. If I'd not got in, fair enough, but didn't go for it. 2-1/2 years away seemed a long time - oh well

Me neither.

I nearly became Jacques Clouseau, however.

I only had two jobs I ever wanted to do. Since I was 5, I wanted to be a Nurse or a Police woman.
I applied for both but was offered a place at nursing school first, so took that!
I loved my nursing career, my only regret is that I didn't join Queen Alexandra's nursing corps, as no-one told me I could be in the Army and nurse!

Edited to add that my other passion since I was 9, was photography.
So when I was medically retired from nursing, I went back to college and gained a HND in Photography. I only dabble for my own pleasure but would love to do something with it!
