Aircraft modelling need not be expensive, rather like cycling. Start off with a simple balsa kit (something like a powered glider) and take it from there. Secondhand rc equipment is quite cheap for the older gear. Wouldn't like to see you pummeling away on your rubiks cube forever! That really would be sad.

I knew somebody would pick on the rubik cube  - rubik cube can be as fun as you want it to I guess. You can go for speed, one handed or blindfolded. I'm trying to get fast.

Sorry, that's just might be a tad too much excitement for me.

Work and hobbies are blurred for me. I work on restoring one boat, then at 4:30 change over to helping with a boat the musy volunteers are building from scratch for themselves. Then at the weekends Hover fly and I are often to be found amongst a pile of old wood the boat Hover is restoring as a hobby.
Other hobbies are poetry, and songwriting, comedy, which has taken a back seat until after the happy event, and trolling.

My hobby for the last three years has been building a dax cobra kit car, got it registered last weekend just in time for a Christmas drive with the father in law. My new hobby is keeping the car running, learning more about tuning big lazy old american v8's and generally improving the car further.

I did mention a while ago in the before and after thread I was making a bike carrier for it which is currently in development.

I'd love to build another car now I've got a better idea what im doing (gt40 or lola/ultima type thing) but dont currently have space so im considering having a go at a straw bale garage extension, very early days research so far but how hard can it be?!
That would make sense, didn't recognise the top and it didn't have a Scottish feel to it. So the question is, why doesn't @Bobby Mhor use a pic from a proper hill ^_^
I was at the top of the Scottish one in June, 90 mph winds, 10ft of snow and an absolute white-out. Quick pic by the trig point and we were off again!

Hillwalking, reading, sea kayaking (rather out of practice at the moment!), pottering around in the garden, dabbling in photography.

I'm just waiting for my Angels to die so I can change to Discus.
I clicked like, but didn't mean it that way!!
I used to keep discus, they are not easy fish to keep, mine went great for a while then one by one fell ill and died. Couldn't work out why, and when the last one died we moved house so got rid of the tank.

Until going off for on a long (12 month) bike ride, I used to have a number of hobbies including winter mountaineering, hiking, camping, photography, gardening & veg plot and cycling. I also taught advanced level driving on a voluntary basis. Since the dog bite has left me unable to walk far (max 4km in a day!), I now only really have the photography and cycling, but a hoping to get an allotment in 2014 so I can get back to growing my own veg & fruit again.

I used to do a lot of photography with medium format and 35mm now got a Nikon Digital SLR but don't seem to get enough time to use it anything more than snapshots....

Also do a bit of amateur script-writing had 2 short plays produced I also tried stand up which I may dabble in again and I have just submitted a sitcom script to BBC writersroom

Oh and I also love Karaoke if that's a hobby.... I auditioned for X factor a few years ago.... I cant be that bad because you didn't see my audition.......
