That'll be 1980. N= Nottingham, P = November (confusingly!) and 0= 1980. What the rest of it means I've no idea!

The 260 x1 1/2 are 584 not 590 are they still all right?

Should be 590's if i remember rightly , should be stamped on the rim and if not check the old tyres

Ok Boys need a bit of help..

Just stripped down the BB on the Triumph and I have removed the threaded left side cap and the ball bearings and cap are now soaking ready for a re grease.
Now the right side has a cap on the end with just a ridge in the middle how do I remove this cap, is it a special tool or is it just a gentle tap it round with hammer and screw driver plus which way do you un thread it, clock or anti clock wise?

Not sure but I'm going to have a go with the cap in place and see where I get too.

i like to get them and give them a good clean and then re insert with some fresh grease
