I've been watching that as well. All the 'teen' acts had elaborate stage costumes and carefully choreographed dance routines, it's like punk rock never happened.

Same here... but it's hard to watch 40 years later.
I did enjoy Damon Albarn & Jamie Hewlitt's Chinese opera at the Manchester International Festival way back when.
A more modern retelling of the legend could be worth a look, thanks for the heads up @Sandra6

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is back and has improved after a third series I found a little disappointing. Fun story arcs for all the characters, and more subtle wordplay some of which had me in stitches and needing to rewind.
