Entirely agree. However, my flat-bar road bike is a conversion of a "racer" that has no capacity for guards/racks, tyres max 25mm...you get the idea. Definitely NOT a tourer.Fast road bikes yes. Just a shame there is no interest in what types of recumbent are being ridden the most. After all there is far more variety in recumbent design than upright design. But what style are members actually riding?
I once saw a recumbent with a sail !I didn't twig it at first as I assumed that it was just a sail board and then noticed the wheels !
