Entirely agree. However, my flat-bar road bike is a conversion of a "racer" that has no capacity for guards/racks, tyres max 25mm...you get the idea. Definitely NOT a tourer.Fast road bikes yes. see bassman's initial post I was responding to.Just a shame there is no interest in what types of recumbent are being ridden the most. After all there is far more variety in recumbent design than upright design. But what style are members actually riding?
