Yesterday i thought i'd make that extra special effort to dress casual but smart. I was only going to take my dog for a walk in the park and do a bit of shopping,but why not do it smartly (unlike most round here) i thought. So i donned my pastel yellow Lacoste polo shirt,my cream retro tennis style shorts and some white socks worn with brilliant white trainers. You'd be surprised how many folk smile at you or make an effort to speak to you when you make an effort in your appearance. This is the best bit though. One elderly woman came up to me and said that i was the best dressed man she'd seen for ages around here. "You never see men in white shorts and if you do they're scruffy,not like yours" she said. I thanked her for her compliments,saying it had made my day which it had!I felt like one of these chaps
