I use a Bontrager Convert for commuting. The top is not super vented like the race helmets and has the extra benefit that it keeps rain from pouring in and down over your eyes to obstruct your view. It is very warm here and I've not noticed any issues with its venting. Still keeps the air running over your head. Also, you wont look like a motorcycle/mountain bike hybrid. Comes in black or white.

This helmet looks really good. I am one of those who was very much dissuaded from wearing a helmet because I didn't want to look like an alien from star-trek. After a bit of a crash I've had a change of heart and will be getting one asap and this looks really quite nice.

Simple answer to a simple question- helmet 1. Nothing wrong with wearing a helmet like that, if thats what you want, take no notice of the p*ss taking wannabes on here, some want to look like Bradley Wiggins some want to look like John Tommac simples.
