I’d normally challenge my self by setting a target to cycle to work X days per week. That’s out the window for the time being.
Thats what i miss WFH for last 9 months

Like Tail End Charlie I too have a thing for castles and am tentatively planning a camping tour of castles in Kent over the summer. Plague depending.

CC MTB weekender or two if/when Wales is open and we are vaccinated. :okay:

If I can get into Wales at our Caravan, I fancy doing some solo MTB routes in the Clwydian Range and above Conwy, as a reccy - should be much better with my new Garmin Explore - the old 705 wasn't great for route navigation off road. Oh and take the best road bike down to the van and ride lots of quiet back roads (using the explore) as I'm no longer confident up where I live (too busy) post my broken spine.

Sounds like a great plan

The CC MTB weekender is folk from here - started April 19, then we did an October 19 ride, then it went to pot with Covid. Beer and bikes and mud. We had two weekends of amazing weather, great company, lots of beer, and some great food (very important). I hope we can do this again - it will come up on the forum once things get back to normal.

All being well I'm hoping to cycle from Worthing to Holyhead and back Easter time. I'm also hoping to do another multi day walk. Haven't decided whether to redo the Pilgrims Way, redo the Cornish Celtic Way or do a new walk.

My wife is finally amenable to the idea of moving out of Worthing; hopefully a move back towards the West Country will happen next year.
I have lived in Worthing for 12 years, first in Littlehamton Road and then Taw Close until 1982 when we decided to move to North Wales. Never regretted it. Got divorced in 1984 though but that's another story.

I am hoping to do the Tour de Mon on Anglesey in August and go to France sometimes during the year as I couldn't go at all this year due to different factors, Covid being the biggest.

The Glue that binds us together.
As long as i survive Covid.
A week riding in Belgium touring a few bars.
A week in the Pyrenees doing a few big climbs.
A couple of 200 milers in the UK.
A week in the sun without the bikes.
Everything i should have done this year.

I was supposed to do the Telegraphe and the Galibier last summer (along with the Lacets de Montvernier, google that one) so hopefully will get to tackle them next summer.

Main problem now is how I can fit my square arse onto a saddle

Well, all good wishes for success! I have a niece whose husband is a policeman, and of course we have our own @Drago and @steveindenmark who have also served. I can all too clearly remember the physical testing for military service, and I was only in the RAF! Good luck, and wear it well!
I have a feeling i will fail it again ! But still practicing running and building my stamina. Its really hard😔
