You know where to report misleading adverts that you suspect to be false: www.ASA.org.uk
I don't know whether it's false or not do I?You know where to report misleading adverts that you suspect to be false: www.ASA.org.uk
That's why it's "suspect"...I don't know whether it's false or not do I?
Frankly, I can't be arsed. If they can't tell me what the bike weighs I won't be buying it.That's why it's "suspect"...
No, you can't. That's the downside on internet buying. In the case of Wiggle you can't 'pop to a dealer and get hands-on with one', can you?.
You could go ride it and see for yourself?
The other side of the coin, is that there's no universal standard for manufacturers quoted weights, with some quoting ready-to-ride, others quoting without tyres, tubes and pedals. You wouldn't know how realistic any quoted weight might be, and it wouldn't even be useful as a comparison against another manufacturers wares.
