Same all year round.

The main reason I use cheaper rims in the winter, is because of the increased chances of hitting something you couldn't see in time, in the dark. I've trashed nice rims a few time. When it is icy the ice tyres come out to play, otherwise it is the same tyres all year round - Marathon Plus. I've never even thought of using a different wheel for winter.
I've just moved to the AW2 hard case lites, very happy so far, not running out of grip, and they claim to have decent puncture protection.
Maybe you'd be better off buying some decent lights? The main reason I use cheaper rims in the winter, is because of the increased chances of hitting something you couldn't see in time, in the dark. I've trashed nice rims a few time.
