More than probably an American Word? Though must admit not looked it up in an English Dictionary, though I have now and its probably originated in the town of the same name perhaps at the event that is held there.

What is everyone's preference for starter words? My wife always starts with "raise" and "mount", but I prefer random words (I currently use my cat's name "Dusty"). For a while I used the previous day's word as a starter word, but then found I often couldn't remember it! Part of the fun, for me, is dreaming up starter words, the more obscure, the better.
