One that winds me up is the amount of people who say "waivered" when they mean "waived".

And Canyda, which is apparently that country just above America...

One has to be careful to separate perceived mispronunciation from accent, or dialect even. 'Room' pronounced 'rum' niggles me no end bit I defend its right to exist!

A mate of mine who is a rugby referee had always said pelanty instead of penalty.

Carol Kirkwood (TV weather presenter) pronounces Northern, Western, Southern and Eastern, as Northeren, Westeren, Southeren, and Easteren, now I have written that down I am questioning my hearing, is it true ?

That'd be interesting one if so, there must be footage somewhere to verify.

Certainly, some people do have blocks with certain words (like @florencethnurse and "ex ker bisshon") that no amount of attempts can rectify - 'northeren' etc would be an extension of that I guess. I have one too, and I'l post it if/when I remember what it is!

Usually Welsh names. Most folk pronounce LLandudno as "landudno", not "clandudno"

Hardest is Betws-y-coed - I know it's "Betswi coid" but we all say 'co ed'
Is "clandudno" right? I would always pronounce it "thlandudno". Obvs "landudno" ain't right
