I found once I was prepped for my op i entered a calm space - i was mentally prepared and entrusted to the experts. I could do no more.

Make use of the morphine driver - as the nurse said to me in recovery - no heroics when it comes to pain relief.

Oh, and oxycodone makes for much nausea...

Lots of pain, but expected and slowly diminishing.
Even this preliminary tweak to spinal lordosis has me standing better than for years. If the second stage is as successful, I'll be well pleased, although it may bring its own set of limitations. When half your spine is completely rigid, things change!
