There once was no such thing as a trainer,road or winter come to that.In my yoof it was a racer.My first was a Eddy Merckz racer with mudguards.I refuse to grow old ! There still racers.....

Same here. A "racer" was a bike with drop handlebars. Anything else was "a bike" (with a few exotic exceptions like "trackers")

Ever since I've been a kid they've done it where I grew up in Birmingham - was definitely not a wheelie person myself though I know for a fact I wouldn't stay upright and verticle for long !

I've never been particularly good at wheelies. The one time i pulled off a stoater there was no one around to it anyway.
