We’ve been sat in the garden watching a pair of buzzards trying to coax the youngster out of the nest

Hell no! I wouldn't put bird (or any other) bodies in a compost bin. Apart from the smell, imagine spreading the contents on a raised bed and encountering skeletal remains, feet and beak! Anyway, moot point now, as a vixen made off with the corpse. Fingers crossed for her health.

I put all the old bits of pheasant and such like in the compost and it all breaks down completely, or if its deer bones then when its sieved it just goes back into the compost for another season.

We placed the wildlife camera facing the gate into our rear garden last night to try and work out how many hogs we have on a regular basis .

The adjoining garden has no exit for hogs other than into our garden .

We counted 5 coming into the garden with 2 going out

So will continue for the next couple of nights
