My current favourite visitor, I get 2 but have only managed to catch them individually so far.

Sadly I don't have a photo but I heard then saw a parakeet near Somerton today. Didn't know they had moved so far west.

Few weeks back i had a small incident with a SparrowHawk. Just starting at the bottom of a decent climb and beginning the grind so was only going about 10kmh when a tit (pretty sure it was it was a blue) sprang out of the hedge at full speed and hit my wheel, that the closely followed by it's chaser which managed to slam on the air brakes and just stop short of hitting me. The tit vanished in an instant hence i wasn't 100% sure it was a blue, but the Spar landed on the roadside before heading off to look for super once more. Was quite an amazing event and all took place in around 2-3 seconds.

My robin helper was back today. He got into a tug of war with a worm that was far too big for him and eventually gave up.

Sat in a bird hide earlier watching a few redshanks when all of a sudden a stout runs across in front of the hide about 6 foot away from us

Then walking along the beach tonight we found a jellyfish

I came across a Little Egret while cycling home from work yesterday. They are not usually this far inland. In fact I was so distracted I missed (or rather hit) a big pot hole.

Saw quite a large turtle in the Basingstoke Canal on Sunday, it was about 200mm long.

I had eye to eye contact with this seagull earlier

Must have seen more than a 100 shell ducks this afternoon along with 30+ little egrets at the point of Ayr bird hide .

All just visible with the binoculars so no chance of pictures I am afraid
