Chased this butterfly around the garden a couple of days ago waiting for it to finally land

A Giant House spider
He is a big lad (or girl ?).
Nothing against spiders but not in my sink.
Ive put him outside to play.

Female Blackcap. This one confused me iu must admit, i thought it was a warbler but didnt see the brown cap until i downloaded it.

Yesterday, a probably weasel shot across the path in front of me.
Juvenile Great Crested Grebe over on the main lake, their neck and head has white and black stripes.
5x Goosander seen on the big lakes too, went and had a look but no sign for me.

We were at a festival last weekend and camping next to a hedge occupied by a pair of linnets, haven't seen one for ages as they don't generally appear in Scotland.
