I just take a look a profile of that course. Lookin tough course, at least the first half. If Zwift release that course they probably release the Harrogate part only.

Anyone going to watch this IRL? I've booked a hotel there for the weekend.

Bert... Kickr down is a sad day

Riding dilemma this weekend... It's the first practise race for the CLS summer crit series tomorrow afternoon which I was hoping to do... but it's also glorious outside... Can I really do ~40 miles inside when it's 20 degress outside or do I get out in the fresh air? The only things that are possibly keeping me indoors is how much I've been looking forward to this series and the fact that I have a free week when it's supposed to stay warm and sunny for most of the week.

That is a toughie. If you've been looking forward to the Crit Series, I'd do that and ride outside the rest of the week.

I like the new Fuego Flat route.

I rode the loop twice. Ideal for me at the moment. It’s very flat with a couple of 3% climbs, so good for setting into a steady rhythm, whether you’re riding Zone 2 like me today, or smashing your way round a TT.

Artwork is excellent and really has the feel of riding through places like Death Valley and other US desert areas.

I can see this being popular for TT races in particular, but also races in general and recovery rides.

Love the new course! When the train came past as I entered the town was a nice touch. Will definitely suit you bigger Watts peeps
Had a spin on there too today. Yep, thumbs up from me too. Looking forward to racing on there, especially TT races :okay: Will get blown away by the power guys, but will be fun

The weather here in NI has been great this past week so no Zwift. Not bragging but i did a short 128 miles yesterday round the east Antrim coast - a beautiful place when the sun is out. The last 30 miles was headwind plus I was almost clipped by a car with 5 miles to go, but other than that it was a great day. :sun:

Stage 3 workout done. It bit tough on the back of gym workout yesterday. I'd reset my ftp to the realistic number I can achieve, not my flash in the pan ftp from last year- that would of had me doing one minute intervals well into the 500 watt bracket, too much. 474W was plenty for a minute.

Erg doesnt really work for 10 second sprints. Once I got on top of the gear, cadence ramped up to 150rpm and 900W was achieved.

Recommend you do the workout when its cooler or fit aircon to your pain cave:heat:

The Antrim coast is a lovely place to ride

Stage-3 done. It wasn't bad at all but i had a difficulties to select proper gears to 10sec sprints. I was succeed them but every time resistance was too low/light and i barely reach the target power, maybe i need more practice with workouts to know my trainer better. My higher cadence was 151 in a sprint, that moment i feel that i need other pair of legs

I started stage 3 but got bored after about 30 mins (I'm not a fan of group workouts) so quit, but Zwift still credited me with the stage

Amazing, I know they are exactly what I should be doing on the turbo to get better but i'm the same, found it really dull and pootled on to the end of it - jealous I could've bailed out like you. I'm pretty sure you are getting in enough mileage anyway...
