I thought you were probably going for the sprint as I saw you were putting out 6W/kg.

I was winding down at just over 2W/kg, so that killed any vague thought I had of chasing!
Legs were dead after that ... couldn't break 40 seconds ... next time :training: Of course, once races are running on that course those times will drop through the floor

I was just finishing my ride too .... with a big blast sprint. Talking of the sprint ....... I know I won't hold it for long once there are races on that course, but for now I'm claiming the glory

I might do a sprint on it tonight on the Bkool Pro. Let's see if you're in the number 1 spot after that.

If you're doing it, and not feeling it, just quit and you'll still get credited. Or turn off ERG (E key) and just spin at whatever pace you want for the 54 mins. You'll stay in the elastic band grouping and get an hour or so of zone 1/2 spinning :okay:
Nah not happening today . I even dropped my FTP to 100 to try and work my way through it and still had to quit :cursing:.

Just a proper off day when it's best to stop and walk away

Are you feeling better?
Better than I was.

Still on antibiotics and coughing stuff up, but if I keep the watts low then things are slowly improving. I can push it, but its followed by coughing and more phlegm, although that’s slowly improving too.

For now, I’m just trying to keep my legs turning and hoping the second week of antibiotics will clear things up.

I love zwift

But I've just spent the last 20mins getting the outdoor bike back in business, pumping up the tires, charging the garmin and even lovingly giving the chain a little (well needed) clean. Haven't been outside in ages, and haven't even been zwifting that much in the last few weeks as I've been digging up the garden and stripping wallpaper, probably won't even be much of a cycle as i'm wrecked and will probably forget how to clip in....but I'm so excited

Edit: I'm going out tomorrow morning. I'm much too full of becks and chocolate right now for that to be safe/enjoyable

:reading:

Edit: haven't we all removed our fast bkool times now so it won't count  .You'll have to push real watts on the neo :cuppa:

Be interesting how quick those segments will be once racing starts as that segment is very close to the start where everyone is still pushing big watts. Sub 30 could be on the cards for some.

I've loved being out riding IRL over the last few days and I've found that my Zwift work has made me fitter than usual this time of year
