Loving the SystemSix (or The Cannon as I've nicknamed it). It is supposed to help on hills up to 6 percent but hard to tell. I have smashed my PBs up a few hills this week but put that down to less weight and more power. Probably do a hundred IRL tomorrow so see how it copes with that.

For sure, it is one beautiful looking bike! When we finally sort our life out it will be on my shortlist
I'm going to line up for this one. I see there's over 1,100 signed up for it - should be in for some fast times with such a big group...either that or a Zwift crash

I've loved being out riding IRL over the last few days and I've found that my Zwift work has made me fitter than usual this time of year
I only did a short morning hilly ride but felt great at the time, and feel amazing now. Went and got lost up a few hills at the start, but went past an old strava segment I remember targeting where I used to live, took 5 seconds off my fastest sprint and 5th overall fastest time on the segment (its a small sprint uphill for a couple of hundred metres so i doubt anyone else cares too much about it, but definitely a big improvement). Flipping gorgeous outside as well.
Unbelievable.

Punctured on the descent of the first climb whilst holding around 30th place. Cost me 5 minutes whilst i robbed a rear wheel off another bike (N+1 is always handy for occasion such as this
). Got going again with 750 riders ahead of me and recovered to 360th by the finish. 00:46:21 is my time. I thought of quitting but I am away abroad with work for the rest of the week so I may not get another chance to give stage 4 a lick.
Well I managed a 2 hour plod/Zone 2 ride today on the new Biggest Loop course in Watopia.
Kept it really easy around 2W/kg over a 34 mile course over the new Desert Flats, Epic KoM and the Jungle. Still coughing stuff up, but less and its feeling a bit better, but I’m some way off being able to race again.
Tried to concentrate on @Norry1 ’s glute recruitment. Don’t know if I got it right, but perfect time to try working on it. I should stress I was trying to recruit my glutes, not @Norry1 ’s glutes. He hadn’t dropped his arse off round my house!

Something has gone wrong with twitter vs strava this morning. My ride is there on companion app (5km shorter than i did) but activity details can't be loaded and it hasn't uploaded to strava. Any ideas?
EDIT: I've done it. You can upload .fit files from your Zwift folder straight to Strava. There's a lot of activities in that folder!

That was overwhelming time in Cat C, next rider was out of sight. You could win Cat B too if you would have toI have just won, what will be for some time, another GOLDI also 'won' an upgrade to B cat, so I won't be seeing the podium again for some time

Stage 4 done at 42-36. Got dropped by my group on a slight incline I miss timed 6km from finish and ride alone for remainder until pipped at line by a large group. I might have dipped under 42min if I had held onto my group but just couldn’t bridge.

Annoying thing was, I didn't know that the 3 riders with me were 1, 2, 3 for cat B so i didn't try to beat them. I did all the work over the last 3-4 km and they mostly sat on me. I was more focused looking over my shoulder to see if the big group with Cs in was going to catch us. I worked really hard to stay with lead group early on. I lasted about 5km when the 4 of us got dropped ( on the little gradient past Green Park up to Parliament Sq). I almost managed to hang on but didn't quite have the legs. The hard work I've been putting in recently really has helped, especially that first 5-10 mins when the pressure is on to stay with a group.

Now that you lift up to Cat B that will probably change the tactics in a race?, probably more pacing if it's possible especially in a gentle sloping gradients.
