Now that you lift up to Cat B that will probably change the tactics in a race?, probably more pacing if it's possible especially in a gentle sloping gradients. Of course that is easier said than done i am sure time and practice will work well with you.
Not sure, to be honest. Tactics will probably still be to smash it out the pens and stay with a fast group as long as possible. The more times I do this, the longer I can hold on and the stronger I get. My tactic therefore is just to see how long I can hold 250+ watts :okay:

I guess it doesn't make any difference how many riders are in a race?. On the other hand you have bigger threat to stick in a sticky draft if there is more riders, but on the other hand there is not much pacing either if there is just a few riders. It just purely your legs what matters, so very honest events races are?.

No, not sure the number of riders makes that much difference to tactics. Put simply .... get in a fast group early on, hang on as long as possible, get dropped, wait for next group to come along, hang on to them for as long as possible .... rinse and repeat

I watch Chris Pritchard's video of his Stage-3 ride and i have to admit, it looks ridiculous especially rubber band effect after Aquarium and those sprints later where avatar barely moved anywhere. I think workouts are better do alone on Zwift, not with a group.

Well done Carl, all that time on the trainer is paying off:bicycle:

Got back from Spain yesterday and have just been catching up with what's been going on here.....

Some same old - Whorty losing weight and choosing to up the ante by doubling up the Alpe, the old standard excuses etc
Some new - Whorty winning cat races :notworthy:, Alan beasting TdW stage 2 not once but twice, glorious weather so CCers actually riding outside

I didn't escape the spoiler of who won Paris-Roubaix though  but managed to avoid Amstel-Gold spoilers. Will catch up with those this evening.

I've updated the TdW league with what I think are the latest results. Let me know if you think I've missed anything. Not sure when I'll do the stage. I appear to have gained a few Kg's whilst been away

@Whorty - I'll be upgrading you to Cat B in the next update mate
