Sounds like all your training sessions are paying offAhhh, I am blushing with all the kind comments.
That said I think Lee always had something in reserve.
Rutland sound good.

Same brand but with a plug on the front. I’m sort of hoping I can just buy another plug that works with this unit so I can still use it. But I’m struggling to find it... might ask in John Lewis later while buying a plastic Christmas tree

It should pair up with your existing kit.
Looks like I missed something. Description ain't clear for itTB I looked at that one but couldn’t tell whether it was stand alone or worked in conjunction with a power line adapter.
Yeah looking at their site it’s a stand alone unit.
I think this is the one

When Andy goes to Rutland maybe we could all have a ride round there for a day when it’s not quite so damp

My understanding is you can just add more of the darn things where ever you've got a plug. So put the one without wifi somewhere else in the house. Buy one with wifi, go through whatever procedure it has to add it to the network and you're done.Yeah this is the ‘problem’ I’m having. I bought the original as a pair. They call it a “starter pack”, implying you can add to it later. But now I can’t find an add on. I have found an add on that is 300mpbs. I can’t tell if it compatible. I’m assuming it is but not a big fan of assumptions... also my system is 1200 so shame to downgrade, although both you and Bob say you’re happy with yours. Bleh.. proper 1st world problem this! I’ll try not to clog the thread with this boring stuff anymore!

Finally recovered from the man-flu. And, of course it's thanksgiving week and the in-laws are on the way. Not sure if I'm going to be able to fit in a race this week either. Jeez.
i agreed i assumed i would be a cat C and doing 2 laps of Watopia 8, so about 60km. Turns out my watts/pk took me into the bottom end of Cat B and so have 4 laps to do. 120km. Gulp!
