This is the one I have already.

Same brand but with a plug on the front. I’m sort of hoping I can just buy another plug that works with this unit so I can still use it. But I’m struggling to find it... might ask in John Lewis later while buying a plastic Christmas tree
This looks like it may be what you're after

It should pair up with your existing kit.

TB I looked at that one but couldn’t tell whether it was stand alone or worked in conjunction with a power line adapter.

Yeah looking at their site it’s a stand alone unit.

I think this is the one

When Andy goes to Rutland maybe we could all have a ride round there for a day when it’s not quite so damp

I won't be living there for a year or two, but it's not so far for me to get there from my current home. Lee is probably alot more familiar of the area, but I do know it can very hilly around the area. Rutland water is also a good ride on a MTB, not technical, 23 miles one loop, several pubs and eateries scattered around the route. Maybe that should be the social ride location Rutland-shire, quite central for most:okay:

Yeah this is the ‘problem’ I’m having. I bought the original as a pair. They call it a “starter pack”, implying you can add to it later. But now I can’t find an add on. I have found an add on that is 300mpbs. I can’t tell if it compatible. I’m assuming it is but not a big fan of assumptions... also my system is 1200 so shame to downgrade, although both you and Bob say you’re happy with yours. Bleh.. proper 1st world problem this! I’ll try not to clog the thread with this boring stuff anymore!
My understanding is you can just add more of the darn things where ever you've got a plug. So put the one without wifi somewhere else in the house. Buy one with wifi, go through whatever procedure it has to add it to the network and you're done.

Finally recovered from the man-flu. And, of course it's thanksgiving week and the in-laws are on the way. Not sure if I'm going to be able to fit in a race this week either. Jeez.

That’s what I was trying to find Jeff. The tricky bit was finding the WiFi adaptor that wasn’t sold as a pair. Seems to be working fine now though

I have been foolish enough to sign up for a race, the Zwift team worlds this Saturday. I will be riding with a team from Zsun. When i agreed i assumed i would be a cat C and doing 2 laps of Watopia 8, so about 60km. Turns out my watts/pk took me into the bottom end of Cat B and so have 4 laps to do. 120km. Gulp! Watopia 8 is the hilly/flat route that you cover in both directions. The first lap will be mental, and likely also the final lap too-if i last to the end that is. The indicators are people will look to gain time on KOM's and then carry power over relaxing a little on the flats. Anyway, if you want to read about it details are here:

If i survive i will probably encourage those of you who remain post the price hike to consider setting up CC teams to compete next year. Obviously some riders take it incredibly seriously, and there has previously been a fair bit of cheating. But that's not why I or most others have entered. There are teams across all category's and it would be good to train and then race with people we know not just here but IRL.

Feel free to look in and drop the odd Ride On to help me complete the race. Lots of dnf's last year and i hope not to be one of them this year.
